Why I Practice NUCCA chiropractic:

17 years ago my life changed forever when I had a car accident. My friend t-boned another car. The doctors at the hospital told me that all I needed was some pain medication and sent me on my way. The next day I awoke with pain everywhere and it just kept getting worse. I had neck and back pain, tingling down my right arm and leg. I developed fibromyalgia.

For years I spent a lot of time and money trying to cure the pain going to all types of doctors. Then someone told me about a NUCCA chiropractor. The adjustment was so light I barely felt it. I began crying with relief as I felt the pain leave my body for the first time in years. I thank him daily for changing my life. I became a NUCCA chiropractor!

Teresa Lonsbury, D.C., graduated summa cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. Dr. Lonsbury has a B.S. degree in Chemistry from the University of Notre Dame. She specializes in the NUCCA technique.

Why I became a chiropractor:

I decided to become a chiropractor when I learned that the chiropractic philosophy is based on the belief that the human body has the ability to heal itself. I had always envisioned working in the health care field, and after college, I eventually ended up in pharmaceutical sales. Although I do believe that there is a time and place for drug intervention, the idea that people can regain health and wellness just by natural processes was intriguing to me. It is exciting to me to be in a profession where I can help facilitate that process.

Why I practice NUCCA chiropractic:

When I first got adjusted in the NUCCA technique, I noticed that I was sitting much straighter in my chair. My posture had improved - and I didn't even know it was bad. I also felt more peaceful and relaxed after getting adjusted, and aches and pains started going away. After studying this technique, it made total sense to me and I decided to specialize in it. I am still under NUCCA chiropractic care and continue to get adjusted on a regular basis.
